Choosing VapeCon starter kits: flavour seekers edition
VapeCon starter kits advice for Romania, covering new in, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Most Romania buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. Airflow control on the Freemax Maxus is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
Local availability in Romania shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.
Delivery across Romania is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on Freemax Maxus is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
Battery behaviour is where the Freemax Maxus earns its keep: the 800 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 150 and recharges over USB-C. We would pair the Freemax Maxus with a 80:20 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.4 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
The standard bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 80:20 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 3.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.
Expect roughly 1656 full puffs from a charge at 12 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Grape Frost Breeze: sweet, fruity, described as dark grape with a cool, brisk finish. On a 80:20 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Romania
Availability in Romania is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.4 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and RON rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
