VapeCon starter kits reviews: tested in Romania (120 W)
VapeCon starter kits advice for Romania, covering servicing, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Anyone who has compared vapecon starter kits options in Romania quickly learns that specification lists only tell part of the story. Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 1.4 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation.
Most Romania buyers start with a well-known brand name and then discover that fit and coil availability matter far more. What surprised us most was how little the 1.4 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 40:60 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
For disposable buyers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month. The throat hit is noticeably firmer than a 40:60 PG/VG blend, so if you prefer a smoother draw, mix accordingly.
Two things to check before ordering: the Micro-USB socket on the base and whether the 1.4 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Geekvape Aegis earns its keep: the 5000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 60 and recharges over Micro-USB. We would pair the Geekvape Aegis with a 40:60 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably.
Comparing this against a 40:60 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 8.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. We would pair the Geekvape Aegis with a 40:60 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably.
Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Cola Zero: sweet, fizzy, described as cola sweetness with a light fizz. On a 40:60 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.4 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Romania
Availability in Romania is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.4 Ω mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the magnetic contact matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and RON rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
